As I leave Birmingham after concluding my masters’ degree, I can honestly say it has been a pleasure to study at Aston University.
The teaching staff was kind, supportive and knowledgeable. My fellow classmates were earnest and driven – leading up to an atmosphere of camaraderie, where we all learned from one another. I have created bonds and learned valuable lessons that I will take with me for life.
After ending the masters chapter, I embark on new adventure of pursuing my PhD degree at the University of Porto, in Portugal. It is with a heavy heart that I leave Britain, but with a sense of mission accomplished as well.
I have now been in Porto a few weeks and I am delighted with the city. The doctorate has been challenging and interesting at the same time. The knowledge I have acquired at Aston has been tremendously helpful in tackling this new challenge.
The lecturers here have all had great things to say about Aston University when hearing that is where I have studied before. I will always cherish my time there, as well as the people I have had the pleasure of meeting along the way.
Farewell, Birmingham. See you soon, hopefully.
